Striped marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, roosterfish, dorado, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, they all come close to East Cape. The world's best sport fishing is yours during Baja California Sur Summer as the big game fish seek the warmer waters of the Sea of Cortez. Directly in front of the resort, the waters are teaming with marlin, sailfish, wahoo, dorado, tuna, and yellowtail.

The best fishing is in the summer, though more people go to Mexico in the winter months. For this reason, you get better deals during better fishing times.

La Paz Rate Includes: Roundtrip ground transfers between La Paz Airport and resort, 4 nights lodging at La Concha Beach Resort on the beach in La Paz, all hotel taxes, 3 days sportfishing 2-to-a-boat aboard a 23ft deluxe panga boat, boat tax, fishing tackle, ice, fuel, experienced guide and approx. 6-7 hour fishing days.

The hottest fishing occurs after the first of July when the sargasso grass appears and fish can be found concentrated along the weed lines. During the summer months, huge schools of yellowfin tuna are sometimes encountered, and skipjack tuna are common. Other species such as marlin and sailfish, mackerel, snapper, grouper, and cabrilla are also available.
